Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to oversee the safe and efficient execution of planned routine maintenance for heavy machinery.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-performing team, ensuring the reliable operation of draglines, excavators, and drills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure site safety standards are met and maintained.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve the best outcome.
  • Provide leadership, setting clear expectations and reviewing performance.
  • Manage accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors to procure necessary parts and equipment.
  • Identify and implement strategies for improvement in safety and technical matters.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Mechanical or Electrical trade certificate and/or tertiary qualification.
  • Previous experience in HME maintenance supervision within open cut mining.
  • Heavy plant maintenance experience: 9020 Dragline, Liebherr and Hitachi Excavators and Drills.
  • Knowledge of relevant mining legislation.
  • Ability to make risk-based decisions.
  • Strong frontline leadership skills with effective written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with Maintenance Management systems.
  • Completed supervisor training.
