Job Description

As a seasoned Agribusiness professional, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Soil Carbon program to new heights. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise and passion for sustainable agriculture to drive growth, innovation, and impact.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase soil carbon stocks, while maintaining or improving agricultural productivity. You will work closely with growers, advisors, and industry partners to design and deliver high-integrity carbon projects that meet the needs of farmers and the environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders and landholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong partnerships with growers, advisors, and industry groups to promote the benefits of soil carbon programs.
  • Project Development: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design and deliver carbon projects that meet the needs of farmers and the environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary Education: Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Science, Agronomy, or related field.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in agribusiness, with a focus on sustainable agriculture and soil conservation.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply.
