About the Role:

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 7 direct and approximately 24 indirect staff, delivering all necessary activities including planning and scheduling, procurement and raw material purchases, import and export, operational logistics, and warehouse management. The role requires a strong focus on continuous improvement to deliver supply chain business initiatives and achieve 'best cost' while supporting current and future business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Identify and address areas for process enhancement, utilizing data and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align supply chain activities with organizational goals and address any issues promptly.
  • Manage inventory levels to balance supply with demand, reducing excess and avoiding shortages.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure business continuity.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management or a related field, with a track record of success in optimizing processes.
  • Ideal experience within an FMCG environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain management tools and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Experience with inventory management and supplier negotiation is a plus.
