Senior Supply Chain Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Specialist to join our cutting-edge Autonomous Air Vehicle Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical supply chain expertise, planning, and warehouse operations oversight to ensure the effective management of inventory and assets throughout the supply chain and in the aircraft production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supply chain guidance to internal stakeholders and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure supply chain compliance.
- Produce supply chain status reports for production readiness and develop and maintain relationships of trust and honesty with all internal customers and external vendors.
- Support production enquiries relating to stock availability, system processes, and forecast requirements, and perform production readiness reviews and formulate and implement action plans for production rate changes.
- Forecast supply chain risks, impacts, and provide mitigation plans to proactively manage and identify and investigate items impacting aircraft production schedules.
- Manage the repair pipeline and provide oversight and guidance to other staff and stakeholders on this process, and identify and implement supply chain process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
- Oversee the general operations of the warehouse and staff.
Requirements
- A sound understanding of Supply Chain methodology and processes, and previous experience in Integrated Logistics Fundamentals.
- Demonstrated experience of Aeronautical product requirements and ability to identify, establish, and promote supply process improvements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling open and effective communication among stakeholders, and competent in the use of PC, MS Windows, and MS Office suite.
- Defence Industry experience will be highly regarded, and applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet NV1 security clearance requirements.
- Ability to work successfully unsupervised and in a team environment.
