Seeking Experienced Labourers for Drilling and Blasting Operations

The role involves supporting shot-firers in achieving daily drilling and blasting objectives. Key responsibilities include marking out, priming, loading, stemming, and ensuring the safe use, storage, security, transport, and handling of explosives.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Blast Crew role. Essential requirements include a Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC), Senior First Aid certification, and ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening. Two x work references from most recent employers are also required.
Benefits:

The successful applicant will be offered a competitive rate, superannuation paid on all hours, and 2:1 FIFO Rosters - day shift only.
Successful applicants must demonstrate previous mine site experience within a similar role. They should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
