Overview

Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Engineering Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Geotechnical Engineering Leader. This role requires a strong background in geotechnical engineering, project management skills and the ability to lead and support teams.

The successful candidate will have experience in applying design engineering knowledge and project management principles to support ongoing activities, including leading and supporting winning new work, developing client relationships and contributing to the commercial success of projects and the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure analysis and design tasks meet technical standards and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain quality, timeliness and coordination of project deliverables.
  • Contribute to the commercial success of projects and the team.
  • Apply project management principles to carry out tasks and deliver project outputs.
About You / Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering;
  • Relevant industry certification – CPEng, RPEQ (QLD)
  • 6-8 years’ professional industry experience, ideally within a consultancy
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex information;
  • Client service orientation;
  • Proven project management skills;
  • Familiar with Australian Standards and specifications;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to apply new knowledge;
  • Co-operative and flexible work style;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
