Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description

This role plays a key part in the supply chain of a leading food services company. Key responsibilities include managing daily stock orders through our system based on sales data and stock on hand, working closely with suppliers to replenish stock as needed, reviewing supplier performance and identifying potential gaps, creating reports and analysing data to inform decisions, forecasting future needs based on historical trends, and supporting wider stock planning and purchasing needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily stock orders through our system based on sales data and stock on hand.
  • Work closely with suppliers to replenish stock as needed.
  • Review supplier performance and identify potential gaps.
  • Create reports and analyse data to inform decisions.
  • Forecast future needs based on historical trends.
  • Support wider stock planning and purchasing needs.
Requirements
  • Background in replenishment or inventory planning preferred but not essential.
  • Highly organised and systematic approach.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills.
