Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager

Company Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery.

Responsibilities:

* Manage the relationship with suppliers and logistics providers
* Ensure timely delivery of products to customers
* Manage the scheduling of trucks on a daily basis, ensuring completion in a timely manner while complying with all relevant regulations
* Resolve any customer complaints and issues in a timely manner
* Plan, organise and manage the work of employees and contractors
* Ensure all direct and indirect reports comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations
* Manage Chain of Responsibility requirements
* Work closely with Customer Service and Sales teams to ensure products are correctly dispatched
* Be responsible for the final check that product leaving the yard is of a suitable quality
* Oversee yard and dispatch operations to ensure all required paperwork is completed and all dispatch dockets are signed, confirmed and re-classified as per procedure
* Check and review all daily reports to ensure stock levels are correct in the system
* Lead and manage projects to ensure continual improvement within the department
* Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
* Analyse data and metrics to inform business decisions
* Identify and mitigate potential risks to the supply chain
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers, customers, and third-party logistics providers
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
* Minimum 3 years' experience in supply chain operations management
* Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to analyse data and make informed business decisions
* Experience working with ERP systems and other supply chain software
* Current High-Risk Work Licence and Certificate III or IV in related field preferred
