E-Bike Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electric Bike Technician to join our team in Melbourne.
Job Description- Our ideal candidate will have experience with e-bikes and their electrical components, including lithium-ion batteries.
- They will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on Zoomo's e-bikes, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and performing at their best.
As an Electric Bike Technician, you will work in a hybrid role, leading our store's retail Front of House, helping riders onboard and gain riding skills, and using your technical expertise in the Back of House workshop to service and repair bikes.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure seamless in-person support experiences for our riders.
- Take riders through onboarding and all safety requirements.
- Help riders troubleshoot issues they may experience.
- Perform advanced repairs, including wheel truing, headset adjustments, frame alignment, and utilizing specialized tools.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing maintenance, repair, and upgrade recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed on bicycles, including parts and labor.
- Collaborate with the City Operations Manager to drive continuous process and operational improvements.
- Experience with e-bikes and their electrical components.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Comfortable working with tools and software.
- Attention to detail and pride in quality of work.
- Team player, willing to help others and get hands dirty.
