Seeking a Clinical Psychologist for a Rewarding Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Cornerstone Medical Recruitment. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to our clients, particularly those dealing with trauma, PTSD, and chronic pain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based psychological therapies, including trauma-based psychotherapy, to individuals dealing with a range of mental health issues.
  • Work closely with other allied health professionals and GPs to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients, fostering a supportive and safe environment for their treatment journey.

Requirements:

  • Full Registration with AHPRA
  • Clinical Endorsement
  • Eligibility for Medicare provider registration
  • Current Professional Indemnity Insurance and ABN (for contractors)
  • Experience in veteran's health, PTSD presentations, and chronic pain management
  • Proficiency in trauma-based psychotherapy
  • Experience with EMDR (highly desirable)
  • Familiarity with Better Access, DVA, EAP, and WorkCover (highly desirable)
