Clinical Psychologist

Thoughtful Movement is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, client-centered, evidence-based clinical assessment and treatment to individuals with complex emotional, behavioral, and mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Services: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other mental health professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and counselors, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Assess client needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress towards goals.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, including session notes, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of our services.
- Stay Current with Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development, education, and training to stay current with best practices in clinical psychology.
- Education and Experience: Master's or doctoral degree in clinical psychology, with a minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role.
- Registration and Certification: Current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Work Schedule: Part-time, 8-hour shifts, with flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.
- Work Location: In-person, with the possibility of remote work arrangements.
