Job Title: Mechanical Trainee

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Trainee to join our team. As an Apprentice Boilermaker, you will be involved in metal fabrication, welding, and repair, working alongside qualified tradespeople while developing your skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, has a strong work ethic, and is willing to undertake formal training requirements.

The Opportunity

You will have the chance to work on a wide range of projects, from servicing transport equipment to assisting with custom fabrication tasks. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workshop, adhering to safety procedures and guidelines.

This role offers a permanent position, working Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm, with opportunities to work Saturdays.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A willingness to undertake the formal training requirements of this role
  • A positive attitude with a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and interest in the transport/trucking industry
  • Own basic tools and welding helmet
  • Reliable and punctual, with good communication skills
