Reliability Specialist Trainee

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Digital Inspection Services team as a Reliability Expert Trainee.
- This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career in the field of inspection and testing.
- You will assist experienced NDT technicians in carrying out equipment inspections across heavy industrial and mining sites.
In this role, you will gain valuable experience using ECA (Eddy Current Array), UT (Ultrasonic Testing) and other techniques to ensure the reliability of equipment.
Responsibilities:- Assist experienced technicians completing equipment condition inspections on heavy industrial and mine sites.
- Gain experience using ECA (Eddy Current Array), UT (Ultrasonic Testing).
- Complete assigned competency and qualification training modules.
- Ensure equipment is setup, calibrated and functional for each inspection.
- Conduct housekeeping and equipment cleaning duties.
- Perform general maintenance tasks as instructed by qualified trades.
- Prepare post site visit reports, time sheets and expenses after site visits.
- Mechanical background and aptitude with experience using power and hand tools.
- Committed to developing a career in the mining industry.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to undertake repetitive work whilst maintaining high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other employees, both verbally and written.
- Positive and proactive approach to safety.
- Ability to travel to remote areas for periods of time at short notice.
- Working at heights and confined space tickets desirable.
