About the Role:

Job Overview
  • We are seeking a driven individual to lead our production team as an afternoon shift coordinator.

This role involves coordinating operational activities, managing staff, ensuring safety standards, and meeting production key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of operators and coordinators.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and wellbeing (HWS) management system requirements are met and safety standards are maintained.
  • Lead and manage the shift to ensure production and output KPIs are achieved.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and report on opportunities for improvement initiatives.
  • Manage costs to ensure delivery is met in a cost-effective manner.
Requirements:
  • Experience in production manufacturing and planning.
  • A solid understanding of safety management systems and building a safety culture.
  • Strong communication skills and computer proficiency.
  • Hazard identification and implementing best-practice safety solutions.
  • Proven experience supervising or managing a large team in a manufacturing or relevant industry.
