Transaction Banking Associate Role

We are seeking a skilled Transaction Banking Associate to join our team. This role will be the first point of contact for clients, providing critical risk management and controls while maintaining and enhancing clients' assets and reputation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about transaction banking products and operations services for large businesses and corporate customers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Form relationships with clients and relationship managers while helping our customers with account maintenance and transaction banking queries.
  • Utilise high attention to detail skills to understand how to mitigate risk or control issues.
  • Demonstrate judgment and problem-solving by thinking ahead, anticipating questions, finding alternative solutions, and identifying clear objectives.
  • Communicate what is relevant and important in a clear and concise manner and share information/new ideas with others.
  • Successfully handle multiple tasks, take initiative to improve own performance, work intensely towards extremely challenging goals, and persist in the face of obstacles or setbacks.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • You will have some experience processing Transactional Banking products or services or have transferable card, payment, merchant, or transactional accounts skills from working in environments like Branch, Everyday Banking, Business Banking Contact Services, Merchants, or Direct Banking.
  • Demonstrable experience working with Transactional Banking clients or products.
  • Relevant experience in Operations or processing roles or experience in Branch Banking.
  • A business or commerce degree is preferred.
