We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Randwick.
About the Role- This is a full-time, permanent role that requires a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with APHRA.
- Work closely with Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Podiatrists, and Therapy Assistants focused on dementia care.
- Assess patients' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and exceed Aged Care standards in Australia.
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current registration as an Occupational Therapist with APHRA.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience with pressure area care, cognitive/dementia screening tools, seating and wheelchair prescription, functional assessments, falls prevention, and equipment prescription.
- Passion for working with people living with moderate-severe dementia.
- Efficient time management and priority setting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team, promoting teamwork.
