Occupational Therapy Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapy Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic services to clients of varying ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize evidence-based practices to promote client independence and self-management through the therapeutic use of occupations and activities.
  • Develop and implement customized assessment and equipment provision plans, including orthotic devices and prosthetic training, to optimize client outcomes.
  • Provide driver rehabilitation and community mobility services, enabling clients to maintain their autonomy and participate fully in daily life.
  • Cultivate partnerships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and support.
  • Pursue ongoing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in occupational therapy.

Requirements:

  • Masters or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration or licensure as an Occupational Therapist in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in senior-level occupational therapy roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessing and addressing complex client needs, including those related to cognitive and physical disabilities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
