Job Title: Inventory & Pricing Specialist


Location: Laverton Branch


About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Inventory and Pricing Specialist to join our team in Laverton. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, maintaining healthy inventory levels, and achieving financial targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor inventory levels, replenishment, and demand forecasts to optimize stock availability while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory
  • Collaborate with vendors and supply chain teams to ensure efficient inventory flow and reduce stockouts or overstock situations
  • Implement and communicate the business's inventory control measures, such as reorder points, cycle counts, safety stock levels, and economic order quantities
  • Conduct pricing analysis to determine optimal price points, considering factors such as market trends, competitor pricing, and product positioning
  • Monitor pricing performance and conduct regular price reviews and updates to ensure alignment with business objectives while evaluating the impact of pricing changes on sales volume, revenue, and profitability
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to extract insights and provide recommendations from large datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to understand business requirements and align inventory and pricing strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an inventory analyst, pricing analyst, or a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory management principles, pricing strategies, and statistical analysis
  • Proficiency in using analytical tools, such as Excel, and data visualization software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex analysis and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
