Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Family Law Specialist - Estates and Wills Lawyer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 18 months' experience in both family law and estates/wills or a minimum of 2 years' experience in either family or estates/wills. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and representation to clients in relation to divorce/separation, property/financial settlements, parenting/custody/child support/adoption, as well as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, probate, succession planning, asset protection, guardianship and administration of deceased estates and Family Provision Act claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients, solicitors and barristers;
  • Drafting legal documents and letters of advice;
  • Preparing briefs for barristers;
  • Attending settlement conferences and court appearances;

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be highly organized and able to meet deadlines, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results. Additionally, you will be required to travel occasionally to regional NSW.
