Job OverviewAs a Disaster Recovery Expert, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing comprehensive disaster recovery strategies for our client. Your responsibilities will include developing detailed disaster recovery run books and formulating robust recovery plans to ensure resilience and continuity. Ideally, you will come from a consultancy background, bringing both technical expertise and exceptional soft skills to the table. This is an exciting opportunity to mature and contribute to an ongoing project, where your insights and solutions will be integral to shaping and safeguarding the client's operations against potential disruptions.
Responsibilities- Maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Coordinate with various departments to develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all recovery plans are up-to-date and effective.
- Conduct tests and drills to ensure preparedness.
- Train staff on disaster recovery procedures.
- Review existing and develop detailed documentation of all plans and activities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of recovery plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in Windows 2012, 2016, 2019 & 2022.
- Advanced knowledge in switching, server H/W & firewall systems.
- Experience in remote monitoring and management platforms.
- Very good understanding of LAN/WAN/TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, SNMP, etc.
- Experience with VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V & enterprise vault environments.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
- Implementing and managing Rubrik Backup and replication environment.
- Excellent Data Centre Security, Firewall, Storage management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of VMWare Cloud Foundation
- Experience in Monitoring tools.
- Network between Azure and SD WAN
