Facilities and Grounds Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a physically fit, versatile individual to join our team as a facilities and grounds maintenance assistant. This role will involve assisting in the upkeep of our depot, ensuring that the grounds and maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Use of yard sweepers and other equipment for routine cleaning and maintenance;
  • Pressure cleaning and hosing;
  • Undertake repairs, cleaning and maintenance of facilities;
  • Manual handling of freight;
  • General property maintenance;
Requirements:
  • Be relatively fit due to manual handling requirements;
  • Honest, reliable, prompt and punctual;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Experience in general maintenance type roles – trades background highly regarded;
  • Basic administration skills;
  • Flexibility to work additional days if required;
