Role Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Catering Assistant. This is a permanent position that requires the ability to work across a fortnightly roster, providing healthy meals to residents and supporting the Chef and team to deliver high-quality catering services.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about food preparation and safety to make a real difference in the lives of others.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing daily meals that meet individual needs, working with the Care team to plate and deliver meals, and completing cleaning tasks according to the schedule.

  • Prepare daily meals that meet individual requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the Care team to deliver meals.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

To be successful in this role, you must have effective communication skills and be able to prioritize workloads. You will also need experience in food preparation and food safety, as well as a Food Handling Certificate (desirable).

  • Able to operate standard domestic and industrial equipment.
  • Availability to work AM and PM shifts.
