The Magistrates' Court of Victoria is a jurisdiction within the statutory authority of Court Services and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
We work to improve court user experience and access to justice, driving reforms including expansion and delivery of specialist family violence courts and programs, infrastructure enhancement, and service delivery improvements.
Our team supports the judiciary in delivering and improving specialist family violence services, systems, and supports, and engaging with key stakeholders and the government.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and continuously improve information sharing processes and practices in line with protocols, ministerial guidelines, and legislative requirements.
- Ensure compliance with the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme, Child Information Sharing Scheme, Central Information Point, and Information Sharing Protocol between Courts and the Family and Federal Courts of Australia.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Government (Court Services) or equivalent registry qualification.
- Relevant qualification in family violence or another field would be highly regarded.
