Role Overview
We are seeking a Head of Distance Education to lead the Distance Education Team across the following areas:
- Leadership of sub-school.
- Communication.
- Enrolment of students.
- Pastoral care and wellbeing of students.
- Orderly learning environment.
- Student attendance.
- Development of community and connection.
- Support effective teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Distance Education Team with expertise, integrity, and passion for Christian education.
Provide strategic direction and guidance on educational policies, programs, and practices to ensure high-quality learning outcomes.
Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
Recruit, train, and develop a team of highly skilled and motivated educators who share our vision and values.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and implementing targeted interventions to support student achievement.
Collaborate with other leaders and stakeholders to drive school improvement and achieve organisational goals.
Requirements
Have an active Christian faith.
Have suitable qualifications and/or experience in school leadership.
Excellent organisational, administration and communication skills.
Be able to receive feedback and be a team player with a can do attitude.
Hold a current Employee Working With Children Check.
