Job Opportunity:

This position offers a challenging and rewarding experience for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurses. The NICU team provides high-quality, family-centered care to critically ill neonates from 22 weeks gestation and above.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized care to neonates with respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and infectious disease management needs.
  • Administer medications using the Pyxis system, including IV vasopressors, surfactants, and steroids.
  • Utilize EPIC software for accurate patient documentation.
  • Foster effective communication with healthcare providers and families through the SBAR method.
  • Manage procedures such as arterial line management, central line care, and neonatal abstinence syndrome interventions.
  • Oversight of ventilator settings and adjustments.

Required Qualifications:

  • BLS certification
  • NRP certification

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in NICU Level III and IV settings
  • Competency in cardiovascular dysrhythmia interpretation
  • Proficiency in gastrointestinal feeding methods and tube management
  • Expertise in infection control measures and IV therapy

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
