Home Based Disability Support Specialist

The Disability Support Worker plays a pivotal role in delivering person-centred support services, promoting community inclusion, independence, decision-making, and personal choice through tailored interventions that align with the NDIS Framework and organisational policies.
We are seeking empathetic and passionate professionals to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to clients in their homes. With various shifts available, this opportunity offers flexibility and work-life balance while making a positive impact on people's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Manual handling: Aid clients with mobility challenges through proper techniques and assisting with exercises
- Support clients in participating in social, recreational, and community activities
- Domestic Duties: Assist with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe environment
- Behavioural Management: Handle clients with challenging behaviours employing appropriate strategies for their safety and well-being
- Provide direct care assistance to each client in accordance with their service plan as directed by the coordinator
- Ensure completion of required documentation
