**Product Portfolio Strategist Role**

We are seeking a skilled Product Portfolio Strategist to join our team. As a key player in our business, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and profitability across all product categories.

Your primary focus will be on leveraging customer data and market trends to inform product assortment, pricing, and promotion strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to refine and execute these strategies, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Partner with Senior Management to develop and execute category strategies, informed by customer insights and market trends.
  • Refine pricing and promotion channel plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to optimize supplier portfolios and increase sales, profit, and customer advocacy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize own brand offers and grow customer advocacy.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience as a Category Manager in a large retail organization or FMCG environment.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing customer-focused category plans aligned with business strategy.
  • Strong negotiation and influence skills with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
  • Able to become an industry expert in their field within Australia.
