We are seeking a seasoned geoscience expert to lead best practices in geometallurgical integration and inform resource extraction strategies.

About the Role

This pivotal role requires an individual with extensive experience in geoscience, metallurgy, or process engineering across the resource value chain from resource delineation through to closure.

  • Leverage multidisciplinary rock mass characterisation to drive decision-making across extraction, processing, and closure.
  • Develop standards for geometallurgical inputs into resource and reserve models.
  • Deliver assurance for geometallurgical programs and models.
  • Built geoscientist capability in developing geometallurgical models with quantified uncertainty.
  • Foster strong relationships across Operations, Planning, and Technical teams.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and maintain research roadmaps to guide R&D investment.
  • Lead and influence geometallurgical research initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the organisation as a global leader in geometallurgy within the technical community.
About You

You should have a tertiary qualification in Geoscience, Metallurgy, or Process Engineering and a proven track record of mentoring and coaching geoscientists and/or metallurgists.

Highly desirable:

  • A postgraduate degree (MSc/PhD) in geoscience or resource engineering.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Location and Roster: The role can be based in Australia corporate offices in Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, or in the Chile corporate office in Santiago. You will be working on Monday to Friday roster with 3-2-1 arrangement.
