About the Role

The Tennis Development Officer will provide high-level support to Tennis Queensland affiliated clubs and stakeholders in the South Region, aligning with State and National tennis strategy to drive growth, sustainability, and success in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clubs and association stakeholders to provide exceptional support and assistance.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the Queensland Tennis Facilities Plan, focusing on court upgrades, maintenance, and accessibility.
  • Support the TQ Competitive Play team to identify opportunities for increased participation and competitive play across the region.
  • Provide high-quality reporting and administrative support to the South Regional Assembly and Tennis Queensland.
  • Lead First Nations projects and initiatives for the South-West region.
  • Identify and support opportunities for schools and clubs/coaches to connect and increase participation opportunities.

About You

We're looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience in sports administration, and a passion for tennis. You'll bring a problem-solving mindset, conflict resolution skills, and a current driver's license and first aid certificate. A current Police Check and Working with Children Check are also required.
