About the Role

At Infinite Care, we are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Associate to join our team at our Mt Lofty Aged Care Facility. As a key member of our housekeeping and cleaning services, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, healthy living environment for residents.

This is a physical role that requires standing, bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing items as part of your daily tasks. You must be able to perform these duties without risk of injury to yourself or others.

The successful candidate will have experience in cleaning and laundry services, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as empathy when interacting with residents on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, main entrance, outdoor entertainment spaces, admin offices, and dining halls.
  • Provide laundry services and ensure residents' daily needs are met.
  • Work closely with the Facility Manager and Hotel Services Team Leader to achieve quality standards.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in cleaning and laundry services.
  • Ability to work off-set checklists and follow agreed procedures for safety.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with high empathy when interacting with residents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and attendance record.
