As a Guest Service Representative at Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests and ensuring a smooth and welcoming check-in and check-out experience.
  • Assisting guests with luggage and concierge services, including bookings for transportation, tours, and dining.
  • Answering phone calls and responding to guest inquiries, providing information about the hotel and local attractions.
  • Resolving guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming lobby and public areas.
  • Coordinating with other departments (e.g., Housekeeping, Maintenance) to ensure prompt fulfillment of guest requests.

  • Proven experience in a Front Office position with expertise in OPERA PMS.
  • Professionalism and pride in personal grooming and appearance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a dedication to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues with a calm and positive demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
