Assembling and Operating Production Equipment Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Operator to fill this key position.
The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the Assembly process and operating equipment and machinery, including sealing lines, retorts, check weighers and metal detectors, soup filler machines and tray label printers.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with a dynamic team to achieve effective production and delivery of meals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic workplace environment.
- Operate equipment and machinery as required.
- Assist in the Assembly process.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Develop strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Retort Supervisor Course or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- A Certificate 3 in Food Processing or equivalent qualification is essential.
- A Safe Food Handling Certificate for Health Industry or equivalent qualification is also required.
- Recognised experience, training or prior learning is necessary.
- Availability to work Monday - Friday between 6:30am and 5:00pm is a must.
