Assembly Operations Specialist

We are seeking an Assembly Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling high-quality conveyor belts to meet customer specifications, ensuring timely and accurate completion of work orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve and interpret work orders to ensure accurate production
  • Lift and transport boxes of modules to different locations in the work area
  • Assemble and inspect samples of specified belts to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Construct conveyor belts of various sizes and makes using modular components
  • Perform quality control checks on produced products to verify compliance with work orders
  • Efficiently manage tasks to meet established productivity goals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with desk-top operating systems, preferably Oracle
  • Detailed oriented, team player, communicator, and problem-solver
  • Ability to understand and improve current processes and procedures
  • Capable of working in a dynamic environment under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-managed mentality with a sense of ownership

Benefits:

  • Full-time or casual position available
  • Competitive hourly rate from $28.00 per hour
  • Overtime pay applicable

Other Details:

  • 8 hour shift, day shift, Monday to Friday schedule
  • Warehouse experience preferred, assembly experience advantageous
  • Driver's license preferred, forklift license not necessary
