Urgent Care Physician

The position requires the provision of high-quality care in an urgent setting, working alongside the Emergency Department. As a Primary Care Specialist, you will be responsible for managing clinical presentations, including fractures, sprains, lacerations, and acute illnesses.
Main Responsibilities- Independently assess and manage patients with various medical conditions.
- Collaborate with on-site teams as required to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Vocationally Registered as a Specialist General Practitioner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to fill in during the week when needed due to leave or illness.
- Credentialed as VMOs of Northern Beaches Hospital and receive a sessional rate.
- Patients present to the Medical Centre on a walk-in basis and are bulk-billed.
- Northern Beaches Medical Centre is open 7 days per week.
- High-quality facility with on-site pathology/radiology, pharmacy, specialist rooms, and ample parking.
- On-site nursing support.
To be considered for this role, applicants must provide a current National Police check, NSW Working with Children's Check, and proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases prior to commencement.
