Rates Analyst Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication abilities. They will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all rate-related data, supporting the annual remuneration review cycle, EBA adjustments, and collaborating with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update rate data across systems including SAP and UKG Workforce Dimensions
  • Support the design and implementation of rate structures and exception processes
  • Conduct audits and system monitoring to ensure data integrity and compliance
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to manage rate changes and reporting
  • Lead testing and deployment of system changes related to rates
  • Provide training and documentation for internal users

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in SAP HR / Payroll data maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of SAP reporting tools (Spinifex, Ad-Hoc Query)
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with databases
  • Understanding of Australian industrial legislation and payroll compliance
  • Experience with auditing and maintaining rates in complex environments
