Dietitian Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Dietitian to join our team and work with a variety of patients across home care in the Northern and Southern suburbs of Perth.

This is a great opportunity for a Dietitian to further their career in aged care and disability services. We are looking for someone that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our people.

Responsibilities include:

  • Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents and clients in their own homes through home care packages/NDIS.
  • Develop personalized nutrition plans and goals.
  • Support the dietary requirements of individuals with difficulty swallowing and chewing, bowel and intestinal issues, and other complex issues.
  • Provide weight management, poor appetite, and dysphagia interventions.
  • Manage food intolerances and allergies.
  • Provide education on diabetes management.
  • Educate clients and their families to optimise their ability to live healthy lives within the community.
  • Work holistically with other allied health professionals to provide a multidisciplinary care plan.
  • Liaise with service providers to ensure effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent).
  • Experience working within home care, aged care, and NDIS settings.
  • Membership with Dietitians Association of Australia with Accredited Practicing Dietitian status.
  • Police Check Clearance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
