Job Title: Clinical Evidence Evaluation Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead for Clinical Evidence Evaluation to join our team. As a Clinical Evidence Evaluation Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring that project teams possess the necessary skills to successfully execute and deliver assigned Health Technology Assessment (HTA) projects.

This is an ongoing full-time position based in Kent Town, Adelaide. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing methodological guidance to research staff and supporting project teams by addressing technical and methodological queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert methodological guidance to research staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform required HTA work
  • Resolve complex technical challenges and assist the ASERNIP-S Manager in managing project timelines and resources
  • Monitor team technical capabilities and identify skill gaps in their ability to perform required HTA work
  • Collaborate with the ASERNIP-S Manager to identify training and professional development opportunities to equip research staff with necessary skills and tools
Requirements:
  • Ability to understand and apply systematic review techniques and relevant research principles for evaluating clinical evidence
  • Ability to understand and apply epidemiological and biostatistical concepts for clinical data synthesis and interpretation
  • Excellent literary and report writing skills with high attention to detail and experience in writing structured scientific reports and publications
  • Experience in mentoring/supervising staff for research projects and addressing technical queries
  • Experience in leading a program of multiple projects, deadline management and project resourcing
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and foster and maintain relationships
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
  • Desirable: some experience in writing grant applications, tenders, business proposals and preparing quotations
