Support Participant Coordinator


Overview of the Role

The Support Participant Coordinator will provide a safe, structured and participant-focused environment, aligned with our organization's guidelines and a recovery-oriented approach.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure participants have access to necessary support services, including medical and social needs.
  • Coordinate daily programs and activities, such as social events, morning meetings, and information groups.
  • Assist participants with their personal care and daily routines, including medication management and transportation to appointments.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to identify and address potential risks and develop preventative strategies.

Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in Social Work, Youth Work or Community Services, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Proven experience working with individuals facing complex or disadvantaged circumstances.
  • Strong understanding of trauma, mental health and emotional development of young people.
  • Ability to work effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse populations and awareness of varied religious and cultural practices.
