Overview

Meridian Helicopters has a great opportunity for an Aircraft Cleaner / General Hand to join a well-established organisation based at Townsville Airport.

The position will give the successful candidates positive exposure to the aviation industry, as well as a wide range of future career prospects.

This is an ongoing casual contract with the potential for a permanent position should you excel in the role. Shifts include Monday - Friday (Alternate weekly between day and night shifts: 7am - 3pm and 3pm - 11pm).

Responsibilities
  • Assisting in maintaining company premises and equipment for optimal functionality.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and safety standards through diligent cleaning duties.
  • Supporting the team in various tasks.
Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card) for airport access.
  • Successfully pass a Drug and Alcohol test.
  • Possess full working rights for Australia.
  • Exhibit physical agility with the ability to continuously bend and lift.
