Job Description

The Home Care Assistant plays a vital role in delivering individualised care and assistance to clients, enabling them to live independently in their homes and maintain their quality of life. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and reporting on client's condition
  • Assisting with transportation
  • Performing household cleaning
  • Supporting personal hygiene
  • Preparing meals

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion for aged care, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A flexible approach and willingness to learn new systems are also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants will need to possess:

  • A Certificate III in Ageing or similar qualification
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • A full driver's license and suitable transportation
  • Ability to provide client transportation
