Indirect Tax Leader

As a senior professional in our Indirect Tax team, you will be instrumental in driving business strategies and helping clients navigate the complexities of indirect taxes.

This is a hybrid position based in Melbourne. Our roles can be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building and managing client relationships, generating revenue, and/or managing complex commercial relationships.
  • Providing leadership and direction to teams up to and including senior managers across multiple activities.
  • Developing and implementing strategies, operating models, processes, and compliance frameworks to manage indirect taxes throughout the tax lifecycle and increase operational efficiency in meeting regulatory requirements.

Essential Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • Significant experience in indirect tax within a professional services accounting firm, law firm, or from working with another large organisation.
  • Strong technical skills in the field of indirect tax, particularly in Stamp Duty.
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate leadership skills in regard to market-facing initiatives, client delivery, and staff development.
