Job Overview:

As a Senior Finance Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing expert financial guidance to support the Premier and Cabinet in delivering on their priorities, commitments, decisions, and objectives for the betterment of the community.

\

You will be responsible for contributing to the development of effective business and financial planning processes, as well as leading the annual budget preparation process. This will involve collaborating with key stakeholders, including Queensland Treasury, Queensland Shared Services, and Ministerial Offices, to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial reports and advice.

\

Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining and developing relationships with key stakeholders, as well as contributing to team wellbeing and capability to create a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budget preparation process\

  • Lead the monthly financial reporting process\
  • Contribute to the annual financial reporting and audit process\
  • Develop and adhere to best practice financial policies, procedures, and systems\
