Technical Support Role">

We seek an experienced Technical Support Engineer to provide expert application support across complex SaaS and cloud-based systems.

  • Provide technical assistance for leading platforms, ensuring reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, from UI rendering errors to API integration failures, authentication concerns, and network performance issues.
  • Analyse detailed log files, identify root causes, and apply fixes that prevent recurrence.
  • Work with relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL - write queries, optimize performance, and diagnose data-related problems.
  • Support integrations across APIs (REST, SOAP), authentication systems (LDAP, SSO, OAuth/OIDC), email infrastructure, and networked services.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, engineering teams, and technical specialists to resolve escalations and deliver timely solutions.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge bases, technical documentation, and best practice guidelines to drive operational excellence.
  • Manage multiple support cases simultaneously, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in application support in a SaaS or cloud-based environment.
  • Solid SQL skills with experience in relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Knowledge of web application stacks and experience troubleshooting in Linux/Unix or Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with API integrations, authentication protocols, and core networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, firewalls, load balancers).
  • Analytical mindset, strong problem-solving ability, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident for eligibility.
