Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking assessments, developing and implementing effective rehabilitation plans, designing and implementing intervention programs, identifying barriers, and empowering clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance and work capacity
  • Identify barriers and develop programs to support people to achieve maximal work participation
  • Empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals by understanding various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Rehab Counsellor and appropriate accreditation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to provide high-quality customer service to clients and customers
  • Willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives
