Senior Digital Preservation Strategist

As a key member of the organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital preservation landscape. The Principal Digital Preservation Advisor position requires a seasoned professional with expertise in developing and implementing digital preservation policies, standards, procedures, and training material.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide expert guidance on digital archiving and preservation to stakeholders, leveraging your knowledge to drive organizational success.
- Lead the development and implementation of digital preservation policies, standards, procedures, and training materials, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Maintain oversight of data models, monitor compliance of digital preservation systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, fostering collaboration and facilitating the transfer of born-digital records.
- Contribute to national and international digital preservation initiatives, working closely with external practitioners to advance the field.
- Prepare reports, submissions, and presentations for diverse stakeholders, effectively communicating complex information and insights.
