In this key role, you will lead the management of digital records, ensuring long-term preservation and accessibility for future generations. As a critical member of our team, you will oversee digital preservation workflows, strategies, and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective digital preservation plans that meet collection, access, and user needs.
- Maintain operational implementation of digital preservation strategies, including policy development, resource allocation, and preservation priorities.
- Investigate and recommend innovative approaches to sustainable digital archiving, refining methodologies and practices as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments in digital preservation tools and technologies, providing expert support to teams.
- Promote best practices among stakeholders on preservation formats, metadata, transfers, and imaging techniques for various file types.
- Analyze data to inform program planning, improve processes, and drive continuous improvement.
