About the Panel Beating Role

We are seeking a skilled and qualified individual to undertake high-quality workmanship in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect received parts for defects and verify correct identification
  • Disassemble vehicles as per Job Sheet instructions
  • Label and store parts for future use
  • Notate broken parts and extra repairs, submitting to Estimator as required
  • Verify new parts for damage and communicate any issues to Parts Manager/Production Manager
  • Colour match and repair vehicles according to Job Sheet requirements
  • Buff and denib vehicles to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Repair vehicles in accordance with Estimate and Job Sheet instructions, adhering to OEM standards
  • Clean workbay and workshop areas to maintain a safe working environment
  • Coach apprentices when required, sharing knowledge and expertise
  • Maintain company tools and equipment, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and functional
  • Adhere to our Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policy, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Trade-qualified Panel Beater or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong commitment to working safely
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Owning necessary tools to fulfill the role
