Role Summary

Delivering 4 Customers, a consortium of industry-leading Tier 1 organisations, has partnered with Sydney Water to deliver design, construction, maintenance, and facilities management services across the southern region. We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer - Minor Works to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful delivery of high-volume smaller projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite engineering services, technical support, and project management/documentation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct and administer overall job planning, costing, and programming, including short-range and intermediate activities.
  • Input information, undertake minor design on site, and monitor and recommend changes to design details.
  • Demonstrate financial management skills, including preparing costs, reducing costs, forecasting, and meeting budgets.
  • Demonstrate people management skills by managing work and performance of teams and subcontractors.
  • Maintain daily records of project performance.
  • Perform duties in accordance with D4C policies, processes, systems, reporting, and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor controls for cost recoveries from subcontractors/suppliers.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, science, building construction, construction management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' engineering experience.
  • Construction management and specific technical skills relevant to the program of work and discipline area.
  • Wide level of planning, development, and review of projects.
  • White card and current driver's license.
