As a truck driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various locations. At SCT Logistics, our goal is to provide end-to-end supply chain solutions that cater to the diverse needs of our customers.

The position requires strong time management skills, as you will be responsible for delivering and picking up general freight within metropolitan areas, with occasional regional work. You will also need to perform vehicle pre-start checks and report any defects or safety concerns to your supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery and pickups of general freight in and around Melbourne metropolitan areas
  • Travelling to customer sites and preparing trucks for unloading/loading
  • Effective time management to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner
  • Performing vehicle pre-start checks and reporting defects/safety concerns
Requirements:
  • Current MC drivers' license
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
  • Ability to operate single and b-double trailers
