Construction Project Manager Job Opportunity

This is a role for a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and supervise construction on commercial building sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct construction activities on commercial building sites.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety requirements, communicate same to employees and subcontractors.
  • Adhere to safe work practices, including review of Safe Work Methods Statements or Job Safety Analysis.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and pre-start inspections.
  • Prepare site inspection reports.
  • Communicate daily with Operations Manager.
  • Address day-to-day problems and issues.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure high standards of quality workmanship.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Commercial Windows and Facades installation and fabrication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
  • Capacity to multitask and manage various project elements simultaneously.
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage people.
  • Attention to detail and precision.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-motivation and drive.
  • Ability to build relationships with builders, clients' representatives, and other site subcontractors.
  • Project review and creation of detailed reports.
